Eva’s Faux Bridal | Blacksburg, Virginia Bridal Portrait Photographer
I’m so excited to make my first post on my new blog! It has taken me a bit of trying to get used to so please forgive me if the post or layout looks a bit wonky. This is the lovely miss Eva, I met her last year when I did a couples shoot for her and her boyfriend. She has a real sparkling personality which shines through the photos so I was very excited when she said she would be willing to do some faux bridal portraits to help expand the portfolio section on my [also new] website!
I was walking home from lunch on the day that we were getting together to shoot and I saw some interesting graffiti downtown that I knew would be perfect! Unfortunately someone had parked right in front of the Donald Trump piece when went out to take photos, but we ducked around the corner and found the infamous Mr. Charlie Sheen.
Once we were finished up downtown we moved on to a more secluded area where there was a field that miraculously still had some flowers, chickens, eggs, an abandoned chair, and a homeless gourd.
I’m allergic to eggs, but Eva assured me that fresh eggs are a million times better than the bulk packages of eggs that you buy at the grocery store. The fresh eggs surely make for a better photo than plain white eggs especially against that awesome hot pink nail polish!
And then we were on the run again! This time we went up to the Hahn Horticulture Garden on the Virginia Tech campus.

Someone had already written “Just Married” on the side of this greenhouse, how appropriate!
Eva likes to spend some time on the other side of the camera as well, she took this photo of me and my son Auden while we were at the garden. Check out Eva Fuze Photography on Facebook!
