Rachel | Blacksburg High School Senior Portrait Photographer
Introducing the gorgeous miss Rachel and her senior portraits. Rachel is a junior this year and will be graduating from Blacksburg High School as part of the class of 2013. I’m so excited to say that this was my first senior portrait session and I look forward to doing more! We had so much fun running around downtown Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech campus despite the dreary weather, it sprinkled the entire time we were out taking photos. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the overcast weather gave us perfect lighting for senior portraits. Rachel had never had Cook Out before her senior portrait session and I had never heard where the phrase YOLO actually came from so thank you Rachel for bringing me up to speed! And now a little bit of Q&A with Rachel so you can get to know my first senior rep:
If you could meet anyone living or dead, who would it be? Lady Gaga, she’s such an inspiration to people of almost all ages.
What’s your strangest talent? I’m really good at picking things up with my feet? Haha awkward…
Do you have any strange phobias? I’m DEATHLY afraid of balloons. No joke, they give me panic attacks.
Favorite band? I don’t think I have one, I listen to every kind of music there is.
Favorite movie? I’m a sixteen year old girl… I’ll give you one guess; You win! The Notebook. Haha that movie’s beautiful.
Favorite quote? #YOLO!
Favorite kind of ice cream? Vanilla bean.
Favorite thing to do in Blacksburg? Hang out downtown with the local vagrants, get coffee at Bollo’s and hang out with the folks in SheSha.
Do you believe in karma? Probably too much. I always have, even before I understood the complete concept.
Who is your celebrity crush? Ryan Gosling, anyone from the Stones, or even weirder, Martin Short back in like ’85.
Do you have a collection of anything? Toenail clippings (jokes). I don’t collect anything significant.
Do you like the smell of gasoline? No, I don’t like it. I LOVE it.
Are you wearing socks right now? Nope. Not now, not never.
What is your favorite word? Irrelevant.
My idea of a perfect date: Anything fun, depends on if you’ve been with the person for long. First date; something to make me like you and give off a good impression. Date night when we’re in a relationship? I’m fine with anything, as long as I’m with the person, paying attention to each other & we’re having a blast. I don’t think it matters what you do, as long as you’re having fun.
